President Jamie Meise
Jamie, her husband Kyle, moved to the area in 2012. Jamie is a stay at home mom to their 3 children Andrew, Alex, and Annabelle, and Kyle is a master electrician for Isthmus Engineering and Manufacturing Co-op. They enjoy being outdoors, camping, boating, running, and spending time with family and friends. Jamie brings a background in human resources and communication to the board.

Vice President Charles Donaldson
Charles and his fiancée Aubrey have lived on Eldorado Lane since fall of 2013. They bought the house as a foreclosure, fixed it up over 3 months with the help close family members, and have made it their own ever since. Four chickens in the backyard supply fresh eggs every day, and a new cat, Peeps, keeps them entertained. Charles completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering at UW-Madison. He works as a Regulatory and Quality Assurance Engineer at Propeller Health, a small digital health company in Madison. Charles brings a new homeowner’s perspective to the Board and is excited to contribute to the Elvehjem community.

Secretary and Echo Editor Audra Johnson
Audra has lived in Madison since 1996, and has made Elvehjem Neighborhood her home since March of 2007. Originally from Rockford, IL she still struggles with her loyalties when Packers play the Bears. Audra spends most of her time spoiling her dog Wilma, a Doberman/Australian Cattle Dog mix who came home to live with her Thanksgiving of 2007. Currently, Audra is an Account Executive at C. Blohm & Associates in Monona, a public relations agency that focuses on the education market. She enjoys going to summer festivals on the Eastside like La Fete de Marquette, spending time with friends, entertaining her nieces and browsing antique malls.

Treasurer Crystal Heppe
Crystal and her husband Joe moved to their home on Bay Ridge Rd in January of 2017 with their two children Lucie (2) and Eldon (6 months). She is originally from the Twin Cities area, but previously lived in Madison for 5 years while completing her undergraduate degree. Joe is from the Milwaukee area so they moved back to Wisconsin from Chicago in 2015, when Joe became the Executive Chef at the Edgewater Hotel. Crystal recently worked in marketing and accounting at a law firm in Chicago and now is a stay at home mom who also works part time from home as a data quality supervisor.

Director at Large Abby Abernathy
Abby and, her husband, Kyle purchased their home on Painted Post Drive in 2012. Abby is a supervisor for the state of Wisconsin, Department of Health Services. Abby enjoys spending time with her daughters, softball, volleyball, bicycling, and scrapbooking. Abby brings event planning experience to the board.

Director at Large and 50th Anniversary Project Coordinator Marilee Cronin
Marilee, her husband Keith, three sons Oliver, Timothy, and Samuel along with their dog Gus have lived in the Elvehjem Neighborhood since 2012. Marilee is a reading specialist for the Stoughton Area School District.  In her free time Marilee enjoys gardening, spending time outside, reading and living room family dance parties.  Marilee brings organizational skills and an enthusiasm for a strong community to the board. 

Director at Large and Tech Coordinator Jared Marker
Jared and his family moved from Green Bay to Madison in 2010 and to the Elvehjem neighborhod in August, 2013. He and his wife have two kids (one current and one future Bobcat), a dog, and a cat. They enjoy cooking, working in the yard, and the outdoor activities and festivals that WI summers bring. Jared has a degree from UW-Green Bay where he majored in Computer Science and studied mathematics and the humanities. He currently works as a software developer and enjoys music and biking to work.

Director at Large Alice Pulvermacher
Alice and her husband Phil moved to Madison in the summer of 1998, where they settled in their home on Academy Drive and raised their sons – Ian and Sawyer. Over the years they have completed many projects on their home and yard, making it their own. Their sons are grown now, but when they were little they used to hand deliver the neighborhood newsletter and Alice has been an LVM block captain for years. For the past 12 years Alice has been working at UW where she landed a research position while in grad school. Phil also works at the UW as a Unit Chef for UW Housing. They both love the neighborhood and Alice is ready to take a next step with the neighborhood association as a new board member.
